Following a period of significant growth and the successful acquisition of several exciting new clients, G&P are looking to grow its team and have created the role of Operations Manager which will play a pivotal role in the success of G&P in Czech Republic.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the delivery of client contracts and will support key strategic initiatives. You will manage the effective and profitable delivery of G&P’s Services ensuring customer satisfaction, maximum efficiency, as well as developing the clients commercially.

Requirements:
- Based at the G&P country head office in Jablonec
- Operations covering the entire Czech Republic
- Extensive travel to attend group or client meetings
- Proven experience in the Automotive industry (Aerospace, Defence & Engineering experience is a plus)
- Strong English skills and good communication skills in Czech
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where your decisions will directly impact operational performance, customer satisfaction, and overall business results across the country.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the effective, efficient, and profitable delivery of all existing operational contracts within the country. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead by example, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational detail, critical thinking, and people leadership.
You will work closely with Operations, Sales, Quality, Finance, HR, and Administration to support strategic initiatives such as revenue growth, business diversification, margin improvement, and the development of a high-performing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Ensure professional, safe, and efficient operational delivery in line with local legislation, Group standards, and G&P governance
- Manage operational contracts with a strong focus on process improvement, resource planning, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Respond effectively to internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Collaborate with HR on recruitment, development, training, and succession planning to build high-performing teams
- Work with Quality on the development, training, and rollout of QTRAK to strengthen competitive advantage
- Partner with Finance and Administration to ensure effective reporting, cost control, invoicing, and cashflow management
Sales & Client Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders within existing and prospective clients
- Support growth within key accounts by identifying value-added and adjacent business opportunities in cooperation with Sales and Marketing
Commercial & Financial Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for profit and loss of existing contracts and delivery of country budget targets
- Ensure accurate and timely forecasting across all business areas
- Support preparation of quotations, presentations, customer visit reports, and administration records
- Develop and implement gross margin improvement plans for key contracts

Location & Travel
The role is based at the G&P country head office and requires regular travel to customer and group meetings.
